During my New Year's stay at this hotel, I was impressed with a few key aspects. the location was unbeatable, with everything within walking distance. It made exploring the city and attending events so convenient. the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. They were helpful in providing information about local attractions and events. Lastly, the cleanliness of the room was top-notch. It was well-maintained, and the bed was already made, saving me the hassle after a late arrival.
While overall my stay was enjoyable, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. the noise level from the corridors and outside could be a bit disruptive at times.

We had a fantastic stay at Yha Liverpool Albert Dock. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. The separate bathroom was clean and well-maintained. The location was amazing, just a short walk away from the Royal Albert Docks and Liverpool One National Express coach station. Despite a minor inconvenience, the staff were friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this hotel for a great stay in Liverpool.

I like that the hostel was relatively close to the city centre and Alber area.
I did not like that I got charged £3.00 more per person! I made a reservation at Booked.net and the price was £58.00! The was a note in the reservation stating that youth hostel memebers will be discounted £3.00. I think Booked.net should advertise normal prices and not the discounted prices. I believe most of the people booking this hostel are not memebers.

We had a fantastic stay at a hostel in Liverpool. The staff at YHA were incredibly friendly and provided excellent customer service. They went above and beyond to accommodate my mobility needs, assigning us a ground floor accessible room with adaptations in the bathroom. It was such a relief to have a comfortable and convenient room, especially since I can't walk well. The hostel also had great amenities like small lamps and charging opportunities at the beds. We also enjoyed a delicious meal and drinks at the hostel. it was a very enjoyable and value-for-money stay.
No negatives from this place. 👍

Friendly, helpful staff
Before I booked the hostel, I called them to ensure that there was no hidden charges/conditions to stay. I was told no. On arrival I was informed of an extra £3 per person (£9) charge as we didn't carry hostel cards. I would recommend this hostel to a large group of people, but I did not find it good value for money for 3 people sharing a room.

Confort is bad, food as well, and prices do not reflect this. Value for money was poor.

My recent stay at Yha Liverpool Albert Dock was fantastic! The recently refurbished hostel provided a brilliant base to explore the dockside area. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the staff were wonderful. The communal rooms and kitchen were also highlights. I highly recommend this hostel.

Friendly helpful staff with smiling faces, large clean room + "disabled "facilities. Free car parking a huge bonus. Good location.
the "damp" spots on wall and ceiling in Room 1 bathroom gave off a musty smell + whiffs of urine from drainage system @ times. Think the "Servisair", above the door in bathroom was running low on batteries hence constant bleeping . Everything was very clean just these odours, so bathroom door kept shut for the two reasons above. Reported to reception who endeavoured to deal with urine odour.

Comfortable bed, clean.
For the price paid, I expected at least towels and soap to be provided! And extra charge for breakfast should have been included in the deal.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Its location in the city centre was perfect for us as we were able to walk to all the local facilities. We also loved the fact that it is next to the bus station, making it very convenient to travel around this city. The staff here were amazing, providing great service laundry service to keep our clothes clean and smelling nice. They also welcomed us with a complimentary drink which made us feel at home. Furthermore, they offered tours/ticket assistance which was very helpful and convenient. The free Wi-Fi in our rooms was fast and reliable, and we appreciated the room amenities such as heating and the free toiletries.
We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great value for money stay.

Positioned right opposite the Albert dock with helpful and friendly staff. Free parking.
Car park too small to hold the a car for all visitors. Poor water pressure and fluctuating temperature meant that it was impossible to use the shower, only to have a bath, and then after a fair wait.
